Burton Memorial WMU Mission Statement
1. Our purpose is to make Jesus Christ known.
2. To be the hands and feet of Jesus
- Providing meals for the families in need
- Provide and serve refreshments for funeral reception
- Give financial support to missions on a quarterly basis
- Go to nursing homes to share Jesus in devotions and song
- Serve at our local Soup Kitchen
- Taking a monthly offering to contribute to our AWANA program
- Help to sponsor our youth on retreats and mission trips
- Head up our Lottie Moon & Annie Armstrong offeringThe WMU Ladies meet the 1st Sunday of every month at 5:00 PM.
- We invite any lady who’s heart’s desire is to do the work of our Lord Jesus Christ to come and join us as we seek to make our Lord Jesus Christ known to our community, our city, our state and to the whole world as He has commanded us to do.
